In 2008 the Formula BMW Pacific Series will support Formula One Grand Prix in Singapore and Japan and the Super GT Series in Malaysia. The three other events will be a part of the “Asian Festival of Speed” (AFOS).*

AFOS is a motorsport package that brings Asia 's premier racing series to many thousands of race fans at circuits throughout the region and to millions more through its global television coverage. From April to October it will provide seven months of continuous motorsport action visiting Malaysia, China, Japan and Indonesia. *

In addition to Formula BMW Pacific Series AFOS showcases the talents of drivers and teams in the region's other top categories, the Asian Touring Car Championship, Porsche Carrera Cup and Formula V6 Asia.
