Status Grand Prix finished the GP3 Series season on a high at Monza, with Marlon Stockinger taking fourth place and Alice Powell making history by becoming the first female to score a GP3 point.

Marlon Stockinger battled well to claim fourth.

Filipino-Swiss Stockinger shadowed the leading trio to the chequered flag in the Italian Grand Prix support race. He was less than two seconds adrift of race winner Tio Ellinas, but try as he might he could not quite grab a podium spot.
From the front row, Stockinger made a strong start but dropped to third when David Fumanelli straight-lined the first chicane to take the lead, and only conceded one of the positions he had gained, to Giovanni Venturini…

A strong start for the Filipino-Swiss from 16th on the grid meant that he was up to 11th place when the race restarted after a very long safety-car period, caused by a multi-car accident on the first lap…

Marlon Stockinger:
"It was a very chaotic race and all the overtaking happened at the start. I had a pretty decent start and it was all quite tight, but I managed to get through. After that it was a case of bringing the car home safely. I had an overtaking chance with Fumanelli on the restart, but that didn’t come off and then it was impossible to move up any further. In two laps there was no way anyone could do anything!”
